Natasha Perssico Escobedo is a principal in the business valuation and forensic accounting practice at Epstein + Nach LLC. Natasha is an Accredited Senior Appraiser in Business Valuation (ASA-BV) and Accredited in Appraisal Review and Management (ARM) with the American Society of Appraisers. She is also a Certified Public Accountant with membership in the Illinois Certified Public Accountant Society.
She earned a Master of Business Administration, with honors, with a forensic accounting emphasis, from DePaul University’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business, and a Bachelor of Science, with honors, with an accounting major from the University of Tampa. She provides valuation services for business entities and securities such as general and limited partnership interests, closely held business enterprises, and estates.

Ralph Nach is the author and instructional designer of the popular annual Accounting and Auditing Clinic™ that has been presented annually for over 25 years for scores of firms and thousands of attendees. He is a sought-after conference speaker and course facilitator throughout the U.S. and internationally.
Mr. Nach brings a wealth of expertise gained through diverse roles across multiple sectors. With over 45 years of experience in the accounting profession, his versatile skill set includes serving as a consulting expert and technical advisor on litigation and financial forensics matters. Additionally, he excels as a designer and facilitator of conference presentations and interactive training workshops covering a spectrum of technical topics, from accounting and auditing standards to leadership and interpersonal development.
His professional contributions extend to his roles as senior faculty and technical advisor for 20-20 Services LLC, a prominent professional training provider, as well as a senior chief auditor for CPAClub and a senior research analyst for accounting and reporting policy at Valens Research. for whom he serves as a member of the UAFRS Advisory Council.
Before transitioning to consultancy, education, and facilitation, Mr. Nach held key positions such as national office quality control partner at RSM US LLP and national chief learning officer at American Express Tax and Business Services, Inc.

BARRY JAY EPSTEIN

Dr. Barry Epstein is a seasoned accountant and prominent expert witness engaged in various capacities within the legal and regulatory spheres.
His extensive experience encompasses collaboration with securities attorneys and U.S. regulatory agencies on a broad array of cases, including auditor liability, accountant malpractice, white-collar defense, financial reporting fraud, and securities litigation. Dr. Epstein's expertise extends to matters concerning Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), international accounting convergence, and Sarbanes-Oxley corporate governance.
With a track record of over 140 cases, he has provided consulting and testified as an expert witness for both plaintiff and defense attorneys, contributing his insights in numerous depositions and trials, totaling nearly 100 appearances.
